An estimated 50 million people suffer from chronic pain in the US alone. Many of us are on a journey to heal our physical, mental and emotional suffering.
“Love Heals” follows the journey of one of those 50 million people. Suffering from 2 failed spinal surgeries, Dana begins her own quest for healing. Her travels take her across the country as she discovers that powerful transformations are possible when people suffering from chronic conditions connect to themselves, heal their past traumas and balance their energy.
Along the way, we meet a combination of medical experts, energy healers, master trainers and everyday people struggling with their own pain. This award-winning documentary combines the research of acclaimed scientists, such as Dr. Bruce Lipton and Dr. David Hanscom, with the wisdom of globally renowned energy healers. Love Heals is based upon the NY Times bestselling book, “Water Up - Fire Down: An Energy Principle for Creating Calmness, Clarity and a Lifetime of Health”.
The film’s diverse characters share their personal stories of learning to accept and love themselves, as they embrace their pain in the process of transformation. “Love Heals” harnesses the magic of cinematic storytelling to facilitate group healing and connection, leaving us with a renewed sense of hope and understanding.
This film sold out 2 theaters during the ILLUMINATE Film Festival 2022 and won the coveted Audience Award, in addition to awards from the Bestlov and Spirit Film Festivals. It is being heralded as a "breakthrough film" in recognition of the filmmakers' distribution deal with PBS, which will enable it to be aired in millions of households in 2024.
Love Heals has received widespread support from many luminaries of the Consciousness and Healing community, including Bruce Lipton, Anita Moorjani and Shamani Jain, who have all hosted screenings, both in-person and virtually. Dana and Krisanna are currently working with Gregg Braden and Rollin McCraty the Research Director of HeartMath for their next film about the healing power of horses, titled "Rescued Hearts".

The Humility of Healing

Healing is often a misunderstood journey that reveals lessons in humility and the chance for deep learning, uncovering aspects of ourselves, if and only if, we are willing to look at them. By allowing and receiving, staying open and getting creative, thinking with our hearts while feeling our bodies, there can be some profound shifts in how we experience the challenge - whether it is physical, emotional or heart based. In my case, it was learning to navigate a new 'normal' after a life-changing diagnosis that rocked my world.
My path has been messy while stunningly beautiful, scary and empowering - filled with moments I'd never ever want to revisit AND also so many moments of being the recipient of so much love and generosity, from unexpected places. When we have a better understanding that healing isn't necessarily linear - that it can be like a game of chutes and ladders or riding a roller coaster that takes your breath away, heart opening and heart breaking - but with the infusion of creativity, receptivity, a sense of humor and beginning new each day, it can become less jarring. At least it was for me.
Now twenty years later, to have had the good fortune to learn and then work with some of the most extraordinary visionaries, teachers, healers, and my clients, I am truly humbled by it all - the good, the challenging and what has yet to come.

In their presence, participants rediscover hope, a renewed sense of purpose, and the belief that healing, in all its forms, is not only possible but beautiful.

The Venue
An Iconic History
Founded in 1905, the Woman's Club of Hollywood was an integral part of the city's history. Originally the site of a former school where Jean Harlow, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, the Cecil B. DeMille daughters, David Selznick and many other Golden Era legends attended, over the years, it transitioned to an entertainment industry hub for producers, actors and their wives. Former members included Charlie Chaplin, Gloria Swanson, Gary Cooper, Lucille Ball, Judy Garland, Tippi Hedren, Melanie Griffith, Steve Allen and many more who enjoyed many events at the club.
Some woman's clubs have assumed an image of wealthy "ladies who lunch" but the Hollywood Club is different - the members are working women, mothers and professionals from a variety of backgrounds. They use their abilities and strengths to help the club survive and thrive, to serve and enhance the surrounding community.
Ideally located within a mile from the Hollywood Bowl and Grauman's Chinese Theater, you could easily miss it, if you weren't looking carefully. The traditional Spanish style building is quietly nestled amongst a variety of taller, modern buildings that have continued to rise up around it, over the years.
Once inside, this Hollywood landmark exudes a timeless charm, a warm ambiance, blending history, culture and cinematic tradition. In a city synonymous with entertainment, The Woman’s Club of Hollywood offers a unique, iconic setting that connects us to the heritage of filmmaking, while celebrating its enduring appeal.

Ninety parking spaces have been reserved for event parking, in a private lot, located directly behind the club. These spaces will be offered to our guests, at no additional cost, on a first-come basis.
