Wholehuman Collective("we," "us," or "the Collective") is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 92-0584007. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our site, sign up for events, or donate.
1. What we collect
We collect only what we need to run programs and to respond to you.
- Donor information: name, email, mailing address, donation amount, and payment details (handled by our payment processor, not stored on our servers).
- Newsletter signups: email address only.
- Event registrations: name, email, and any accessibility needs you choose to share with us.
- Contact form: name, email, subject, message body.
2. How we use it
To process gifts, send receipts and tax acknowledgments, deliver event information, send our quarterly letter, and reply to inquiries. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate — payment processors, email delivery, and event registration platforms — and only the minimum required.
4. Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails any time, request a copy of the information we hold on you, or ask us to delete it. Write us at lela@wholehumancollective.net.
5. Cookies
We use a small set of cookies to keep the site working and to count page views in aggregate. No advertising trackers.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, so if something does go wrong, we will tell you within 72 hours.
